Summer of Performance Sales Event: The Clock is Ticking

The Acura ILX is one of the less-heralded parts of the new Acura vehicle lineup. That looks set to change thanks to a major redesign. The 2019 Acura ILX will arrive at Hall Acura Virginia Beach with a newfound sense of style, and with some significant changes on the technology front that are sure to please demanding car shoppers.

What’s new starts at the first look: the polarizing “beak” design from years past is gone. In its place, you’ll find a look that’s simultaneously blunter and sportier than before. We’ve seen this look already — the Acura Precision concept originated it, and the new Acura RDX brought it to Acura dealerships — but it’s a welcome addition nonetheless. The rear fascia and lower diffuser are redesigned to match.

Inside, you’ll find fewer changes. That said, we think you’ll like the dual-screen layout, the restyled seats, and the new Espresso color scheme. If you think that’s all there is to see, you’d be mistaken; AcuraWatch active safety features are now standard across all trim levels. That means lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and automatic emergency braking.

Some key features return from last year. These include Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, the A-Spec trim, and the 201 horsepower 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

We’re expecting to take delivery on our first batch of the Acura ILX in a matter of days, so keep an eye on Hall Acura Virginia Beach or drop by our showroom at 3200 Virginia Beach Blvd. If you’ve been on the fence about the Acura ILX, we think its new look and new tech will be more than enough to entice many of you into test driving this new Acura car.
